Vanessa Mueggler

Vanessa’s soccer journey began when she was five years old. She practiced and played her way through her hometown league all the way to elite level AAA status when she was just thirteen!

She was then chosen to represent her province and played for the Quebec Team, where she was scouted and asked to join the National Training Center at the age of fourteen, which is the training center for Canadian National Team prospects.

At seventeen, Vanessa’s journey led her to Middle Tennessee State University where she was awarded a full ride athletic scholarship. Vanessa represented the university for four years, playing around the country all the while earning a degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance. During her four years at MTSU, Vanessa was an integral part of the team collecting numerous accolades such as NSCAA Scholar All-American, Sun Belt player of the week, NSCAA All-South Region Scholar Team, and Sun Belt First Team to name a few. Her senior year of university, Vanessa and her other classmates won the conference tournament and represented MTSU at the NCAA tournament for the first time and only time (to date) in school history.

Vanessa believes that you never know where a passion can take you and encourages all youth, especially young girls, to continue playing, learning and building friendships, no matter what the score is. Believe and Achieve! She is still the best of friends with the teammates she played with on her AAA team, the Quebec Team and at MTSU!

Vanessa lives in Montreal, Canada where she continues to play soccer with her childhood friends!
